Papalala Za Ongwala (the wings of the Eagle)

All of the proceeds from the sale of Shirley's paintings go to the Eagle Wings Christian Family. Eagle Wings is Chiomba Nkhanga  in Chchewa.  Eagle Wings is made up of a very small group of Christians, who support five local Malawian missionaries and their families in their work. Eagle Wings is not a charity organisation, instead it aims to help Malawians to become self sufficient. https://www.facebook.com/wingsofmalawi/

Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint.”

July 2025 sharing the Gospel -

Sharing the word of God and their own language

The navigators have been a great success both in the north and the south of Malawi.

They have been shared in the prisons And hospitals. People have been baptised

And hungry to learn more about Jesus.

We thank our hard-working Rev And Pastors For their dedication and love. To those more needy than themselves. As they sacrifice their own resources and food and time helping others. They are humble.

Reverend Stephen and pastor Kestina In the north

July 2025

( photo taken with permission)

Rev Stephen and  Pastor Kestina Came across this man lying on the grass outside the hospital waiting to be seen. He is riddled in cancer and he was hoping for painkiller. They prayed with him and gave him a navigator Bible in his own language.

Sadly, he was sent home because the hospital didn't have any painkillers. As the United Nations no longer supply Malawi.

So poor man had to make his way home suffering.

He lives 15 km from the hospital.

Our Pastor will visit him.
